How to Join

New Leaf Link takes place from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm at the Harrowsmith Free Methodist Church on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Anyone aged 18 years and older who is interested in joining, please use the contact form and we will reach out with more information! These are the three pillar of New Leaf Link's program:

THE ARTS: Talented Instructors help participants to explore the arts including drama, puppetry, music, painting, and printmaking. Each year we produce and perform an original play at an Open House Event.

HEALTHY LIVING: Participants explore health and wellness through movement including dance, karate, QiGong, and exercise to develop flexibility and balance. New Leaf Link has a full kitchen where participants prepare healthy foods that are then enjoyed together.

COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION: Participants visit local businesses and organizations to learn more about our community. Community guests are invited to our program to share their passions and talents.

SUMMER CAMP: Participants attend a few days and overnights at a camp on beautiful Bull Lake, Central Frontenac enjoying comfy cabins, great food, outdoor activities, evening campfires, and most of all the camaraderie with friends and wonderful sense of achievement that the experience brings.

NeLL TV!: This entertaining series of video shorts showcases the creative and educational activities of NeLL participants. Created by NeLL artistic instructors with the generous financial support of the United Way Kingston Frontenac & Lennox Addington. COVID-19 STATUS: NeLL continues to maintain health and safety protocols aimed at keeping our participants and staff safe. These protocols are reviewed regularly and adjusted as needed based on evolving public health guidelines.
